Business owners can apply for the business contest during the New York Business Expo & Conference registration process.
Below are the official rules of the 24-Hour Small Biz Makeover Contest brought to you by The Applegate Group, Event Management and The Applegate Group. By entering this contest, you agree to abide by all the following rules:
DEADLINE
Entrants must register / entered by 11:59 PM on October 8, 2012 to be eligible to win.
ELIGIBILITY
No purchase or payment is necessary to enter to win. The contest is open to those 21 years of age or older at the time of entry who resides in the continental United States. Winner must be the owner of their business. The company must have been in business for 2+ years and have an active website as well as social media platform(s). The business contest is void where prohibited by law, or where the registration, or filing requirements of any state or local jurisdiction have not been complied with.
REQUIREMENTS
Committee will select two nominees for a follow-up interview. Finalists are required to participate in a 30-minute interview via Skype. Interview must be conducted between October 9th - October 14th 2012. Both finalists must be present at the New York Business Expo and Conference on October 17th 2012 from 11:00 AM - 5:30 PM to redeem assigned prizes.
WINNER NOTIFICATION
The Applegate Group will announce the first and second-place winners on October 15, 2012 by notifying them using the email address provided when they registered. This is a subjective selection process conducted by the principals of Event Management and The Applegate Group.
PRIZE GIVEAWAY
The winners will each receive their prize(s) free of any cost and any shipping/delivery charges, however, assembly may be required. Any costs related to product activations or monthly use (i.e. Verizon Wi-Fi JETPACK) is the sole responsibility of the winner. The prize(s) will be sent to the address of the winner's choosing. The prize(s) may not be exchanged, traded, or redeemed for cash and is not transferable to other parties. Any taxes on the value of the product are the sole responsibility of the winner. Any prizes not redeemed on-site during the New York Business Expo and Conference will be provided based on the winner's availability or schedule between October 18th - November 30th.
GENERAL RELEASE
